NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Heavy rain on the West Bank Tuesday morning is causing some roads to flood.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said all roads were clear of water by 2 p.m.
The following roads in Jefferson Parish had water on them:
- Carol Sue/Terry Parkway in Terrytown
- 300 Block of Wall Blvd in Gretna
- 1900 Block Stumpf Blvd in Terrytown
- 7400-7500 Block River Rd in Marrero.
There was also a vehicle stalled in the 7500 Blk River Rd, Marrero. That location is not passable.
There was a report of a car barely missing the canal in Metairie.
Businesses in Algiers are also reporting water on the roads in the 2900 block of General DeGaulle.
