(WVUE) - The Saints thought enough of linebacker Demario Davis to sign him to a three-year, $24 million dollar contract this offseason. He was their big money free agent acquisition and with good reason. He's coming off his best season as pro with 135 tackles and five sacks with Jets in 2017.
The Saints will now depend on Davis to produce like his contract suggests he should. He spent most of the offseason as the first team middle linebacker. If that's where he ends up, he'll become the quarterback of the Saints defense and must guide that group to success in 2018.
