(WVUE) - 2017 was a solid season for Sheldon Rankins. He started all 16 games and played 76% of the defensive snaps, which was fifth on the team.
He was also versatile. When the Saints had injuries at defensive end, Rankins even kicked outside to help out. He finished with 26 tackles, two sacks and even an interception against Buffalo.
Rankins is heading into year three with the saints and will be counted on once again to be a force along the interior of the Saints defensive line.
