NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Thousands came to New Orleans for the holiday weekend to celebrate the 24th annual Essence Fest.
While in town, many made their way to Bourbon Street which, Saturday night, turned into a giant dance floor. Dozens broke into the "Electric Slide" dance while singing "Before I Let Go" by Frankie Beverly and Maze.
According to our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, the dance took place in the 700 block of Bourbon.
The performance was captured on video by New Orleans native Arthur Hudson, who posted it to his Facebook page.
Sunday marked the fourth and final day of the festival.
