NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After seven years of providing New Orleans with local and seasonal lunch, dinner, and brunch, Cafe B announced it will be closing at the end of this year. Cafe B opened its doors in 2011 and featured what they call "Elevated Neighborhood" cuisine, while keeping the Metairie clientele in mind with a family friendly environment.
Ralph Brennan's restaurant company announced Wednesday that it has decided to not renew its lease at their Metairie Road Location.
"It's been wonderful being in such a warm and welcoming community for the last seven years, and there is definitely a part of me that's sad to see it go," Brennan said in a statement.
Brennan's company operates other New Orleans staple restaurants like Red Fish Grill, The Napoleon House, Brennan's on Royal Street, and Ralph's on the Park.
For now, the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group will focus its energy on new ventures coming soon, as well as, perfecting their existing restaurants. Brennan has also said in a statement that the entire staff of Cafe B will be secured with positions at other Ralph Brennan restaurants.
