PENSACOLA, FL (WVUE) - The U.S. Coast Guard received help from good Samaritans in saving 11 people from a sinking boat near Pensacola Beach, Florida. The rescue took place Saturday around 2:43 p.m. in the water about a half mile south of Pensacola Beach.
According to a Coast Guard spokesperson, crews responded after receiving a call of a boat will 11 people on board, sinking. Nearby good Samaritan boaters assisted the Coast Guard in rescuing the 11 people from the water. The boaters were taken to a Pensacola marina where none required medical attention.
