OCALA, FL (WVUE) - Traffic laws are made for a reason, and one Florida deputy wants everyone and everything to be held accountable to them.

A deputy with the Marion County Sheriff's Department was on patrol when he saw something walking down the road.

The officer took to Facebook to issue the traffic citation after the suspect wouldn't pull over.

It turns out, the suspect was a turtle. The turtle was cited with going 1 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h zone.

The officer said he tried to talk to the turtle, but it snapped at him.
