Report: French Quarter short-term rentals hit with 2nd round of fines

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - City officials hit unlicensed short term rentals in the French Quarter with a second round of fines.

According to our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, a Slidell couple and a group from Oklahoma City were penalized.

Ccity inspections found the properties on Orleans Avenue and Bourbon Street listed on the sites VRBO and Flip Key.

The owners were each fined  $3,000 plus $100 for every day the properties are not in compliance.
