NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department has arrested a woman they say stabbed a man in the back multiple times in front of a residence in the Milan neighborhood.
Police say the suspect, 37-year-old Ashley Muse, followed the victim to his home in the 2300 block of Peniston Street around 3:30 a.m. and began banging on the victim's vehicle door. When the victim opened the door, Muse began hitting him with the butt of the knife. The victim then exited the vehicle and that is when Muse started stabbing him in the back.
The victim was stabbed multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Muse was later arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Jail with one count of aggravated battery.
