A Heat Advisory is in effect again today for areas south and west of the Lake from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Additionally, as high pressure shifts back to the west, we will have a better chance for storms today. We will see some strong storms during the afternoon and evening hours. Strong winds and heavy rain will be the main threats, but an isolated hail storm or spin up cannot be ruled out.
Tomorrow, most of the area will see slightly lower humidity and lower rain chances. While we'll still be hot, heat advisories are not expected. Plan on mostly sunny skies Tuesday-Thursday. Spotty storms return this weekend.
There are no tropical systems threatening the Gulf of Mexico at this time.
