Second hearing scheduled for man accused of killing JPSO deputy
JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Another hearing takes place Monday for a man accused of fatally shooting a Jefferson Parish deputy.
Jerman Neveaux is charged in the 2016 death of Detective David Michel Junior on Manhattan Boulevard.
The hearing is the second one since Friday.
Both a psychologist and a psychiatrist previously testified Neveaux was competent to stand trial.
If Neveaux is found guilty, he could face the death penalty.
