Former Saint Malcolm Jenkins 'looking forward' to Domecoming

(WVUE) - Some NFL training camps are already underway. While others are just days away from beginning. Meaning this is the last weekend for those off-season events, and activities before NFL players are back to the grind.

Like the Saints, Malcolm Jenkins and the Eagles get going on Thursday.

He chose to spend his last football free Saturday here in New Orleans hosting "Get Ready Fest* alongside Shaquille O'Neal, Stephen A. Smith, and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Jenkins, a former Saint, comes off the Super Bowl win with the Eagles., and says he looks forward to Philly's matchup with the Black and Gold in November.

"I'm looking forward to it. It'll be my first time back in the Superdome since I left. I'll definitely be excited to get back in that environment. The biggest thing is just trying to refocus, and always continue to compete and try to get better. Anytime you win a championship, the next year, everybody's looking to beat you. We've got to find an edge and something to improve on everyday, similar to the mindset we had last year," said Malcolm Jenkins.
