NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police have identified a teen as a suspect in a shooting incident that occurred in the 300 block of Country Club Drive on July 29.

The NOPD is looking for 17-year-old Adelaide Sollberger.

The victim told police that at about 1 a.m., he received a call from a female acquaintance known as "Addie" asking if he would like to meet. The victim said he agreed and asked if Sollberger would pick him up at his home.

When Sollberger arrived, the victim said an unknown white male was sitting in the front passenger seat. The unknown male allegedly produced a rifle, pointed it at the victim and fired, striking the victim in the arm.

The victim said he fled and called police from a nearby home. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to determine that Sollberger was the alleged driver of the vehicle.

It's not Sollberger's first brush with law enforcement. In February, she was one of seven people arrested in St. Tammany Parish as members of the St. Tammany Narcotics Task Force concluded a month-long narcotics investigation into a suspected Lacombe drug dealer.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Adelaide Sollberger or the unknown male suspect is asked to contact NOPD Third District detectives at 504-658-6030 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
