(CNN) - New video from Australia shows the scope of the devastation from a severe drought.
Once green grass now looks like just dust and dirt.
All of New South Wales in Southeastern Australian is now in a drought, in what prime minister Malcolm Turnbull called the worst drought in New South Wales in over half a century.
New South Wales government said this was one of the driest winters on record, resulting in failing crops, water shortages, and a shortage in supplies to sustain livestock.
Livestock was seen flocking to water trucks in desperate search of water.
On Monday the prime minister announced new financial assistance to farmers there.
