Man accused of robbery in Burger King parking lot, NOPD says

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying and locating the pictured subject for his involvement in an armed robbery incident that occurred on July 29.

The person contacted the victim and arranged to meet the victim at a Burger King located in the 6300 block of Elysian Fields Avenue. The perpetrator arrived at the location as a passenger in a black Nissan Altima.

The victim then approached the passenger side of the vehicle with his cell phone in his hand.

The perpetrator then pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the victim and demanded the phone.

The victim, fearing for his safety handed the victim his cell phone, and the perpetrator and his accomplice, identfied as a driver, then fled in the vehicle south on Elysian Fields Avenue toward Robert E. Lee Boulevard.
