Drew Brees didn't play a down against the Jaguars, but his offense rose to the occasion in the second half, and the Saints left Jacksonville with a 24-20 victory.

Taysom Hill led a 12-play, 81-yard drive, that ended with a QB keeper for a 3-yard score. That cut the Jags lead to 20-17.

After a forced fumble on a sack by the defense, the Saints offense struck again. Jonathan Williams scored from four yards out to give the Saints a 24-20 advantage.

The Jaguars started off the contest with a 15-play, 79-yard scoring drive that ended with a Blake Bortles 2-yard touchdown. Former LSU Tiger, Leonard Fournette, racked up 24 yards on five carries on the drive.

Trailing 10-3 in the second quarter, the Saints punched in their first touchdown of the season. Ingram did the honors, knotting the game up at 10.

The Jaguars doubled their lead on the Saints in the third quarter with a Cody Kessler to Scott Orndoff 7-yard connection, making the score 20-10.

The Saints return to action next Friday, playing the Cardinals in the Dome. The game kicks off at 7 p.m., and can be seen on FOX 8.
