Macy Gray to hold free show

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Macy Gray is set to play a free show in New Orleans Tuesday.

The raspy-voiced singer known for belting out, "I try to say goodbye and I choke," will play at The Maison, 508 Frenchmen Street.

According to our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, the "album listening party and live performance" is presented by PlaylistNOLA.

The Facebook invite notes that admission to the show is on a first come, first served basis. The event starts at 10 p.m.
