Man wanted in connection with arson, multiple other crimes
JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal along with authorities in Jefferson Parish are asking the public's help locating a man wanted for arson and various other property crimes.
The State Fire Marshal said Keithen J. Banks is being sought for a vehicle fire in late 2017 in the 1000 block of Minor Street in Kenner.
A warrant for one count of simple arson has been issued for his arrest, according to the report.
The State Fire Marshal said in addition to the arson warrant there are nearly a half-dozen active warrants and municipal attachments out for Banks by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, Harahan Police Department and Kenner Police Department. Those warrants include burglary and theft, according to the report.

Anyone providing assistance and/or housing to Banks is in violation of state law and may be arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact.
