The Village People, Foreigner, Montgomery Gentry headline Gretna Fest

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Village People, Foreigner and Montgomery Gentry will headline the 2018 Gretna Heritage Festival kicking off on Friday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Sept. 30. Organizers made the official music lineup announcement on Wednesday.

Organizers say this year's lineup will be a return to their roots. Themed days include the best of disco and R&B on Friday, a return to rock on Saturday and country on Sunday.

More than 35 local and national acts will span across five stages. Some of the other acts set to perform include Night Ranger, Lee Ann Womack, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, Sister Sledge, Chee Weez, Amanda Shaw, Cowboy Mouth and Bag of Donuts. See the complete music lineup here.

The Gretna Heritage Fest also plans to create the ultimate family experience this year with a parade, the ultimate tailgating experience and a classic car show. The popular West Bank festival will also feature dozens of food vendors, a beer garden, arts and crafts and carnival rides and games.

Advance sale admission through to the event is $30 for a Single Day Ticket or $77.50 for a Weekend Pass. Single Day Tickets are also available at the gate for $35 and a Weekend Pass for $90. General Admission for children 12 and under is free. VIP and Skybox Admission not included with General Admission.
