ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Louisiana State Police have made an arrest in a fatal single-vehicle crash in June.

State Police have arrested 50-year-old Ivan Johnson and booked him with vehicular homicide, vehicular negligent injuring, obstruction of justice, DWI 1st offense, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

Investigators have determined that Johnson was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash that left 59-year-old Anthony Lewis dead and 52-year-old Carlos Moore injured.

Troopers say on night of June 10, just before 9 p.m., Johnson was driving at a high rate of speed on I-10 eastbound in St. John the Baptist Parish when he lost control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway and flipped several times.

Lewis was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. John the Baptist Parish Coroner's Office.

Investigators received a statement from Johnson but evidence found at the scene did not match his statement.

Toxicology results later revealed that Johnson's blood alcohol concentration level was above the legal limit.

Johnson was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Livingston Parish Jail.
