JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Jefferson Parish Council members will discuss foul odors coming from the landfill Friday.
According to our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, the special meeting will start at 2 p.m. at the Joseph S. Yenni building.
Residents of River Ridge and Harahan call the odor nauseating, and say it burns their noses and throats.
There are four lawsuits filed against the parish targeting the smell.
