Buildings in Downtown Houma vandalized

HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - The Houma Police Department is currently investigating damage to various downtown buildings.

The graffiti was noticed in early August. The old City Hall building was spray painted, as well as other locations throughout downtown Houma.

While investigating the incident, Houma Police were able to surveillance video of the suspects they believe are responsible.

At this point, HPD is requesting assistance from the community in identifying these suspects.

The suspects are wanted for criminal damage to property, according to the report.

Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
