The memoir, released on October 24, 2023, by Gallery Books, covers Spears’ rise to fame, conservatorship, and her path to freedom. It has sold over 2.5 million copies in the United States in hardcover, ebook and audiobook formats.

The book depicts her journey from her beginnings in Mississippi and Louisiana to becoming a pop star. It details her breakout hit “…Baby One More Time” and her later career with “Piece of Me.”
