Another hot and mostly dry weekend ahead

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - No big changes for the next couple of days with hot and dry conditions sticking around through the next couple of days.

We can expect temperatures in the low 90s for highs with overnight lows in 70s as moisture creeps up.

An upper low pushing across the middle of the country will help drag more Gulf moisture north.

Some energy from that low may dip far enough south to help increase rain coverage starting Monday through next week.

Gabrielle continues to churn in the tropics well out into the Atlantic. No issues for the central Gulf Coast through the week ahead.
