METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) - A Metairie man admits he squeezed a hamster to death at a Lakeside Shopping Center pet store.
Nola.com and The Times-Picayune reports 21 year-old Vincent Caracci plead guilty today to aggravated cruelty to animals.
A judge order Caracci to serve two years' probation and complete 80 hours of community service.
An arrest report says an employee at the now-closed Lakeside Pets told deputies last March that Caracci took a hamster and squeezed it until the animal stopped breathing.
