State officials discuss law that helps parents save for school tuition

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - State officials plan to discuss a new law Monday that gives parents the opportunity to save money for elementary or secondary school tuition.
Representative Franklin Foil and State Treasurer John Schroder will talk about the Start K-12" program.
The new law builds on the existing 529 college savings plan, known in Louisiana as the student tuition assistance and revenue trust.
