Alleged female accomplice in 4-year-old’s death arrested and booked with capital murder
JACKSON, MS (WVUE) - Police in Mississippi have announced the booking of alleged accomplice Victoria Cox, on charges of capital murder and sexual battery.
The capital murder charge indicates a connection to a killing in this case, though details on which killing and the nature of the involvement remain unclear.
The police chief was expected to speak today but will not make further statements until Monday.

Second arrest made in connection to murder of woman, 4-year-old
The suspect, Callihan, is being held at the Rankin County Jail, located east of the city. Law enforcement captured him in a wooded area, where they found a three-year-old dead and a six-year-old injured.
They also reportedly discovered cages at the scene, raising questions about human trafficking.
Both Cox and Callihan were reportedly questioned for hours. Details regarding any extradition to Tangipahoa Parish are unclear and will be determined by the prosecutors.
The Rankin County Sheriff confirmed that Tangipahoa deputies were present to interview Callihan.
