Dense fog during the morning commute before a big warm-up
We’re under a Dense Fog Advisory through Monday morning

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After a soggy start to Sunday, we’re drying out and warming up.
Heads up for your Monday morning commute. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect from 1 am through 9 am. Visibility may be reduced, which means it could slow down the morning traffic a bit as you head to work and school.
We’ll see highs near 84 degrees on Monday with that muggy feeling sticking around.
Things heat up even more on Tuesday and Wednesday, when we’re tracking record-setting highs around 86 degrees both days.
The humidity will stick around until a cold front moves in late Wednesday afternoon.
That front will bring storms, and a few could turn strong to severe.
Once it passes through, we’ll get much drier air for Thursday, though expect strong northerly winds gusting to 30 mph. Highs will drop to the upper 60s, a nice break from the heat.
Friday shapes up to be another pleasant day with highs in the 70s.
Looking ahead to next weekend, the 80s and humidity are likely to make a comeback.
