Nearly 2,000 Entergy customers without power in Gretna

GRETNA, LA (WVUE) - Nearly 2,000 Entergy customers are without power on the Westbank Monday morning.
According to the Entergy outage map, a stretch along the Belle Chasse Highway running from the Westbank Expressway to just past Lapalco Boulevard has been without power since 4:45 a.m.
Crews are working to determine the cause of the outage and restore power.
Entergy estimates power will be restored around 7:30 a.m.
