Teams competing in Baton Rouge Regional at LSU announced

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Sports fans now know which teams LSU will host for the NCAA Baseball Regional.
NCAA announced on Monday, May 26, that LSU is the No. 6 national seed. The following teams will play in the Baton Rouge Regional:
- 1. LSU (43-14)
- 4. Little Rock (24-32)
- 3. Rhode Island (38-20)
- 2. Dallas Baptist (40-16)
Little Rock, Rhode Island, and Dallas Baptist are also in the Baton Rouge regional.

LSU is one of 16 host sites for the NCAA Baseball Regional.
The Tigers are paired up with the Clemson Regional, which also features Kentucky.
According to LSU Athletics, the four-team, double-elimination regional will begin on Friday, May 30, at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. The first game is at 2 p.m.

This is the 28th time LSU is hosting an NCAA Regional and the second time in the past three seasons, according to the university.
