OMAHA, NE. (WAFB) - The No. 6 LSU Tigers resumed their game against the No. 15 UCLA Bruins Tuesday morning, June 17, following a weather delay in Omaha.

The game got started on Monday, June 16, but had to enter a lengthy weather delay at 7:20 p.m. before being called off for the evening.

The game picked back up at the top of the fourth inning with LSU leading 5-3 and UCLA coming to bat.

The Tigers move on to play Wednesday, June 18, at 6 p.m.

The rest of the game on Tuesday will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network (98.1 FM) and ESPN2.

The last time the Bruins and Tigers met on the field was in the opening round of the 2013 College World Series.

The Tigers held the lead after the 3rd.

The Tiger takeover started in the bottom of the 1st, as Jared “Bear” Jones hit a 3-run jack.

In LSU’s 20th trip overall to the CWS and first trip since taking it all in 2023, the Tigers are working to continue their journey to the championship.
