OMAHA, Neb. (WVUE) - Arkansas is heading to the College World Series semifinals after a 7-3 victory over UCLA in Omaha on Tuesday (June 17). The Razorbacks jumped ahead early with a two-run homer by SEC Player of the Year Wehiwa Aloy in the first inning and never looked back.

Logan Maxwell’s two-RBI double and Justin Thomas Jr.’s late-game insurance run helped stretch the lead to 7-0 before UCLA got on the board in the ninth. The Bruins pushed across three runs in the final frame but fell short.

Arkansas will now face LSU on Wednesday at 6 p.m. for a spot in the championship series.
