FIRST ALERT: Fog concerns continue each morning

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The fog will remain the top story in weather through the course of this work week.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 this morning so we’ll be watching those visibilities even after sunrise. Remember, this type of fog formation is patchy in nature as we’ve not moved into the sea fog season which is when all areas get socked in pretty good. Fog potential will remain with us each morning this week.

Outside of the fog, the weather remains nice in the afternoon. Sunshine and highs in the 80s make for some warm, pleasant days.

There is a rain chance creeping into the forecast for Friday. We’ll watch and see how widespread in nature that system will be. Right now it doesn’t look too promising for a nice, soaking rain.
