FIRST ALERT: Widespread dense fog this morning

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It’s a First Alert Weather Day because of the threat for widespread dense fog for your morning commute.

Some locations could see visibilities drop to 100 feet or less. Please take it easy driving this morning.

By this afternoon it’s back to sunshine and 80 degree weather. In fact the 80s are likely with us through the rest of the week and right into the weekend. A small rain chance on Friday will hopefully help keep the fog away for one morning.

Next week we stay warm until a seasonal front arrives in time for Thanksgiving.
